Step 2: Create Your Schedule

Click on the "Schedule" page, found on the menu on the left.

Then, using the drop-down, select the semester you wish to add classes to. Using the Green “Add New” button, begin creating your classes.

Enter the class name, day type, period, and room number. Feel free to also provide a brief description of your class. When you are done, click "Add Class."

Keep in Mind

Your school may have a rotating schedule with multiple “day types.” If this is the case, please click the + Add Day Type to add the class for each day type it occurs on.

For example, if you have 6 different “day types” in your schedule, you may teach the same group of students on days 1, 3, and 5. In this case, you would add your class for all three of those days, and it would look similar to the image below.

Step 3: Put device in Kiosk Mode

Kiosk Mode works best when you have a device dedicated to it in each classroom. Any device with a camera and internet browser should work just fine!

Clicking on the "Kiosk" page in the menu will place your device into Kiosk mode.

Once the device is in Kiosk mode, student scan begin using SEED Classroom by scanning their IDs on the camera as they arrive to class. Scanning in before the bell rings will mark students present, and after will mark them tardy. Of course, if they do not scan in at all they will be marked absent.

Note: Your administrators may or may not have added a buffer to allow students to have extra time to scan in at the beginning of class before they are marked Tardy. Ask your admin team about the "Late Buffer" if you feel it needs to be updated.
